The following University educational and public services programs are eligible to use The Center:
- Short-term educational programs organized and sponsored by an academic or administrative unit of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- Programs sponsored jointly by an academic dean, vice chancellor, the Provost or the Chancellor and a group not directly affiliated with the University
- Meetings and programs of the University's Alumni Association
- In general, the facilities are not intended for use by:
- regularly scheduled classes of instruction for which degree credit is offered
- recreational programs
- programs conducted for personal financial gain
